Last shoots in LA.

I’m moving out of LA on September 30. Before the house is empty, I’m shooting portraits, headshots and press photos here for two days.

LA, 2012 to September 30

I’ve lived in Los Angeles since 2012 and in this house since 2020. For most of those years my camera paid the rent: press photos for DJs and artists, headshots, portraits, and six Desert Hearts festivals in a row.

Billboard opened its 2020 piece on dance-music photographers with my photo of Gesaffelstein. My work has run in VICE, Mixmag, UPROXX and SF Weekly, and Everfest once called one of my Burning Man frames “the best shot of the man burning we’d ever seen.”

On the 30th I leave, and I don’t know when I’ll be back. So I’m opening the house one more time, priced so more people can come. This weekend starts at $250.

Three ways to book

Every session is indoors at my place. $100 holds your time and comes off the price. The rest is due at the shoot.

My rate has been $1,000 a shoot. This weekend: from $250.

30 minutes$250

Headshots

  • One or two looks
  • One setup
  • 5 retouched finals

A headshot you will actually use.

The hour$450

Headshots and press

  • Up to three looks
  • A couple of setups
  • 12 retouched finals

Musicians, creatives, anyone who needs a press kit.

Two hours$800

The full session

  • Wardrobe changes
  • Several setups
  • 25 retouched finals

Bands, couples, brand content, a new portfolio.

Pick your time

Times are Los Angeles time.

  1. Choose a session and a start time.
  2. Pay the $100 deposit through Stripe. Your time is held for 30 minutes while you do.
  3. You get a confirmation email and a calendar invite.

Before you come

Where

My house in Los Angeles, indoors. The address comes with your confirmation.

What to bring

Two or three outfits you like yourself in. Solid colors and simple textures photograph cleanest. Bring anything that says what you do: an instrument, a jacket, a prop.

Bringing someone

Couples, duos and bands are welcome. Book the hour or two hours so there is time for everyone.

The deposit

$100 holds your time and comes off the price.Cancel at least 48 hours before and it comes back in full. Inside 48 hours, or if you don’t show, I keep it. You can move once, up to 24 hours before, if another time is open. If I cancel, you get all of it back.
